How you will make your Kids Comfortable With The Potty

Always formally introduce the toilet even if your child seems familiar with it.

Proper Introduction Process

Ensure ALL bathroom knowledge comes directly from you, not outside sources. Begin changing diapers exclusively in the bathroom to establish the connection. Use simple explanations: "This is a toilet. Big kids use this instead of diapers." Allow your child to watch you use the toilet (same-gender parent recommended). Narrate the experience: "Daddy needs to use the toilet. Let's go together!" Let them help flush and say "Goodbye pee-pee!" Show them exactly how the toilet works to eliminate fear of the unknown. Use encouraging phrases: "Soon you'll wear underwear and use the toilet just like Mommy and Daddy!"
