Setting Up New Activities During Toilet Training

NEW ACTIVITIES: Consider preparing puzzles, books, crayons, Play-Doh, and similar items. You'll be stuck inside, so you don't want your child to get bored.

Activity Guidelines

The way to solve this problem is to ensure your child never gets bored. Being able to redirect your child's attention to new and interesting activities will save you. Things to keep in mind: You don't want these new activities to be too messy because at some point when you're not paying attention, your child might start having accidents. You should also eliminate all dress-up games from your activity list. Don't let your child watch new movies or anything similar; watching TV, unfortunately, is on the "don't-do" list. And the last wonderful activity on the list - welcome to potty training!
